Why did you design the bag you did? Why did you select the style? Leather?
I picked the Diva Carryall bag because of two things. The first being its size. I am always hopping between places so I love how it's large enough to hold everything that I need. I travel so much and this bag is the perfect size. The second reason is because the design is unique but also very chic!
What does your bag say about you?
That I love to travel and I love little bold accent pieces.
Who are you?
Have you always been you or did you grow into yourself?
I would say around high school is when I grew into myself, and definitely after I moved away to college. I come from a large family of 8, and between 5 other siblings, I barely had time for myself. I grew into interests my siblings had, but it was around high school and into college where I began to realize what I loved.
Is there a quote or motto that you live by?
“To thine own self be true”
What are some things you do to celebrate you?
I like to consider myself dynamic and full of range.
I read, take photos, eat, work out, play sports, travel, and even play board games.
How does Laudi Vidni help you tell your story as a unique, one-of-a-kind person?
I love how each bag is customizable. I also love how when I travel with the bag, it seamlessly moves with me.
What event in life has shaped you most as a person, and how?
As an athlete, and as someone who LOVES playing sports and doesn't mind getting injured (It's part of the grit!). Having torn multiple ACLs and meniscus really messed me up in the head. I was afraid to play sports for a long time, which led me into a deep depression. It was also because of these life changing injuries/surgeries that I feel is the reason why I am so resilient! Having multiple sports injuries and surgeries can really mess with you, but it's what we do with it after. I am tougher, stronger, and faced adversity like the champ that I am!
What are you trying to learn?
I am learning to appreciate time alone. Since I grew up in such a large household, being around people felt natural and part of my identity. If it wasn't loud or I wasn't juggling a bunch of things at once, I felt empty. But I am learning that alone time is really what I need to heal and give my body the love it deserves.
How would you describe your personal style?
Athleisure. A mix of professional and sporty. A true representation of who I am on the daily.
