A "work in progress" working hard to make a future version of myself super proud of me today.
Why did you design the bag you did? Why did you select the style? Leather?
I never do anything without intention. My intention during this process was to think about the type of bag I wish I had in my closet- not just style and shape, but how I would want to wear it- and then make it real. I wanted something fun and funky I could wear with a t-shirt and jeans or a black leather dress on days I don't have to lug my laptop around.
What does your bag say about you??
That I am colorful and have something that matters to say.
What are some of your favorite leathers from our collection?
I loved Printed Basketweave and Printed Totally Rad right away!!!
Have you always been you or did you grow into yourself?
I've always been me- the process has been getting to know her.
Was there a moment when you realized you were you?
I'm unique in the sense that I realize I can be whoever or whatever I want to be at anytime. Everyday is an opportunity to reinvent 'you' and how people see you in the world.
When was the last time you rebelled?
I try to rebel everyday. Why follow rules that were created by other people that only benefit them when you could just say 'no' and show them everyone has the power to be creators?
Is there a quote or motto that you live by?
My goal every morning is to wake up and live an entire day where I am unapologetically myself!
What are some things you do to celebrate you?
I proudly tell my story and desires to people I think will care and want to help me accomplish more.
How does Laudi Vidni help you tell your story as a unique, one-of-a-kind person?
Creating a functional accessory as unique as I am was a fantastic treat. My story, my bag, my personality- no one else has it!
What event in life has shaped you most as a person, and how?
Becoming a mother over 7 years ago was the most life transforming experience of my life. It shows you what you are capable of physically, emotionally and spiritually. It tests you constantly and shows you corners of your being that you were blind to before.
What are you trying to learn?
All the things I don't know so I know where the holes are.
How would you describe your personal style?
Fearless, chic with an element of classic- trying hard to stay away from extreme trend.
